The playoffs for teams from the ABC Motsepe League will start tomorrow Tuesday 18 June 2024 at the Mxolisis Dicky Jacobs Stadium in Upington. The Motsepe Foundation has funded the ABC Motsepe League since 2014 and by the end of this week a tenth pair of clubs from South Africa's amateur ranks will be promoted to the Motsepe Foundation Championship for next season.
The tournament consists of the nine provincial ABC Motsepe League winners who are separated into three groups of three teams each where each team will play each other in the a mini league format. The winner of each group plus the overall best second placed team will advance to Friday's semifinals. The winners of thee semifinals will contest the final on Sunday with both sides already having earned their place in the professional ranks of the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
