CAPE UMOYA UNITED 1 MBOMBELA UNITED FC 0

Letsie Koapeng scored his first goal of the season as Cape Umoya United bagged their second win of the campaign to slot into 10th place on the log. At the same tome visiting Mbombela Utd suffered their first loss of the season causing the former logleaders to drop 5 places to 9th. This was the first meeting between the two sides.

TSHAKHUMA TSHA MADZIVHANDILA 0 JOMO COSMOS 0

Two sides that are enjoying growing success met in Thohoyandou on Saturday and played to a goalless stalemate that would have suited visiting Cosmos more than the home side. Despite dropping points though, TTM are still logleaders in the NFD with cosmos dropping two places to 7th. It is the first time that the two teams have played to a draw.  

ROYAL EAGLES 1 UTHONGATHI FC 0

The unbeaten run of five matches and rich scoring streak for Uthongathi FC was halted in the KZN derby on Saturday when Royal Eagles won for the first time at home and bagged back to back wins for the first time this season. After scoring the winner against Tuks last week, Philani Cele was again on target in Week 6.

TS SPORTING 1 UBUNTU CT FC 0

TS Sporting have taken a liking to Cape sides this season and after beating former PSL outfit Ajax CT in Round 4, they saw off the challenge of Ubuntu on Saturday to climb to a season high 3rd on the log with Chauke netting the only goal of the match. Ubuntu have still yet to win this season and have accumulated just one point in six outings. They lie 2nd last on the log. This was the first meeting between the two sides.

STELLENBOSCH FC 2 REAL KINGS 0

A brace from Iqraam Rayners saw Stellenbosch FC home to their third win of the season and their first at home. It’s been a torrid season so far for Real Kings who are without a win so far and bottom of the log after the loss. Stellenbosch FC climb from 9th to 4th.  

UNIVERSITY of PRETORIA 0 MACCABI FC 0

The Gauteng derby between Tuks and Maccabi failed to produce a goal, but did stop a 2 match losing run for the side from Dobsonville. Maccabi haven’t won since Round 1 and have slipped from logleaders in Round 1 to 13th on the log. Tuks have slipped two places to 8th. This was the first meeting between the two sides.

TS GALAXY 2 WITBANK SPURS 0

New TS Galaxy coach Dan Malesela picked up his first win since taking over at the club, when TS Galaxy won one of many Mpumalanga derbies this season in KwaNdebele on Sunday afternoon. The season has been a pretty dire one for Spurs so far and despite winning the opening match, they have yet to win since then and have lost four matches in a row. This was the first meeting between the two sides.

RICHARDS BAY FC 1 AJAX CAPE TOWN 0

An Mthethwa goal saw Richards Bay FC beat former PSL outfit Ajax Cape Town in front of the Supersport cameras and commentators on Sunday. Coming off a winless three match streak, Richards Bay took the match to their visitors, with the Cape side slumping to the second away defeat in a row. While Richards Bay climb 2 places to 6th on the log, Ajax drop from 3rd to 5th. This was the first meeting between the two sides.
