The Cape side still hold onto top spot on the log, but have been joined there by Mbombela United. Stellenbosch FC have failed to score in their last two matches, allowing the chasing pack to close the gap at the top of the log. The only goal of the match was scored by Nedzamba who bagged his first of the season.

Assistant coach Casey Prince will take the reigns at the Cape club for now. Makhele scored the only goal of the match – his 1st of the season. The former FC CT are the still only side in the NFD to not yet win a match this season and will spend their 3rd week at the bottom of the log.

UNIVERSITY of PRETORIA 0 BLACK LEOPARDS 1

The Zambian strikers’ second goal of the season elevated Leopards out of the relegation zone and up to 10th. One feels though that with only 5 goals this season in 8 matches, there is still work to be done at Lidoda Duvha. Tuks have still never beaten Leopards at home.
JOMO COSMOS 2 REAL KINGS 1
Cosmos kept their unbeaten home record intact with a hard fought win over their KZN opponents on Sunday. With veteran Mulenga and Makobela scoring goals for Cosmos, the Vosloorus based side climbed to 6th on the log, pushing Kings down to just 1 place above the relegation zone. Kings have only scored one victory all season and although they have 5 draws in 8 outings, it is clearly not enough. The win for Cosmos is their first ever against Real Kings.
