Kiki: Tell us who you are Mark Ogagan?

Mark: My name is Mark Ogagan, I am the Media officer of Jomo Cosmos and I was born in Nigeria.

Kiki: Did you study communication and how did you end up at Cosmos?

Mark: I studied English at the University of Nigeria and Journalism at Nigeria's Institute of Journalism. I used to work for a football magazine called Complete Football International Magazine. I met Bra J in Burkina Faso in 1998, I was covering the Afcon and I had an interview with him and he promised me he will invite me to South Africa. The following year I received a fax from his office and arrived in South Africa in January 1999 and that is how our relationship started.

Kiki: How is the feeling in the Cosmos camp after their Nedbank victory against Bidvest Wits?

Mark: We are very happy and excited to reach this stage as you know last season we were knocked out by Orlando Pirates at the last 16 stage. Last season however I was working for Newswatch in Nigeria. We just told the boys you are PSL material and you can beat Wits on your day and that is what happened.

Kiki: Tell us what transpired with your game against Cape Town All Stars and the kit not arriving.

Mark: I accompanied the team to the airport and saw them checking in and everything as I would not travel. The airline was at fault because our luggage was mistakenly taken to Durban instead of Cape Town, we were all surprised that it did not arrive in time. The match commissioner gave us 45 extra minutes for the kit and cards to arrive, up until 15:45 pm. However it didn’t arrive eventually.

Kiki: Thank you for your time. Goodbye.
