KIKI MONARENG SPEAKS TO AMAZULU GM - LUNGA SOKHELA

Kiki : How would you sum up the season so far?

Sokhela : We started the season very well, but had a bit of a slump. We had two crucial away draws recently and were very disappointed to lose against Mthatha Bucks. We need to be more consistent and with more confidence we will get back to a winning streak.

Kiki : You have one of the best squads in the NFD and also a major sponsorship from Spar but you haven't gone to the fore yet?

Sokhela : That's correct but this season we recruited a new coach, still in his first season, from Zimbabwe and we also have factors affecting our results ie. the officiating. All these things do play a factor. We are grateful for the quality of supporters we have ‎and there are ingredients showing that we still can contest for league honours.

Kiki : You have a partnership with the Sharks Academy. How is that going?

Sokhela : It started 3 years ago and is going quite well so far as the scouting and development is better than before and obviously there will also be room for improvement.

Kiki : What led to Japhet Zwane departure?

‎Sokhela : We decided to go our separate ways as we reached an amicable separation with him as there were a couple issues on and off the field that I can't divulge.

Kiki : Favorite Food ,Holiday and Car?

Sokhela : Car Lamborghini, Traditional Food and Cape Town.
